My name is Markus Horlacher and I am coming regularly to Tiruvannamalai since1987.

Around 1995 I started to convert desert land near Adiannamalai into a forest.
Some eight years ago, I began to take photos of Arunachala from the area, mostly at sunrise.
I enjoy being out in nature while taking time catching unique still images of the ever-changing and limitless appearances of the mountain.

The pictures are exclusively done by just handling the camera. 
Since I am frequently asked for Arunachala Sunrise Photos, friends helped me to set up this website.
